About the Role
You will manage daily tasks linked to credit report reviews, dispute processing and client case updates. You will handle work across TransUnion, Equifax and Experian. You must keep records current, respond to letters and prepare dispute files with clear notes.
Key daily tasks include.
• Maintain an organized investigations inbox.
• Process stall letters, creditor letters and bureau responses the same day.
• Check in and out by email.
• Update CRM notes and record all case details.
• Draft dispute letters for POA and non POA cases.
• Respond to internal team emails.
• Clear iPostal mail daily and upload all files.
• Handle chargebacks with full documentation.
Key investigation tasks include.
• Process dispute rounds from one through twelve.
• Send disputes to creditors and bureaus.
• Create custom dispute wording when needed.
• Identify issues in collections, charge offs, late payments, repossessions, bankruptcies, inquiries and public records.
Digital dispute tasks include.
• Complete TransUnion digital disputes daily.
• Update the digital dispute tracker each day.
• Run monthly dispute cycles for active clients.
• Prioritize simple items such as old charge offs and closed account late payments.
Compliance tasks include.
• Follow FCRA, FDCPA, CROA and Metro 2 rules.
• Maintain strong records and timelines.
• Support escalations, CFPB issues and arbitration prep when required.
Requirements
This position requires strong experience in credit repair work.
Main needs include.
• At least two years of credit repair, credit restoration or dispute investigation experience.
• Knowledge of FCRA, FDCPA, Metro 2 and credit bureau processes.
• Skill drafting dispute letters.
• Experience with TransUnion digital disputes.
• Ability to spot errors in credit reporting.
• Strong attention to detail and dependable work habits.
• Ability to meet deadlines.
• Strong written communication.
• Experience using CRM tools.
