About the Role

The Accounting Manager will oversee key accounting processes and work closely with senior leaders. This role owns the close process and supports accurate financial reporting. You will apply U.S. GAAP in real business situations and help maintain clean records as the company grows.

This position blends hands on work with process improvement. You will prepare entries, review balances, and solve issues when numbers do not align. You will also help improve systems and workflows to reduce risk and improve efficiency.

Clear communication matters in this role. You will work with finance, operations, and external partners. You should feel comfortable explaining accounting topics in simple terms.

Core Responsibilities

The Accounting Manager handles daily and monthly accounting tasks while supporting larger projects.

You will manage monthly, quarterly, and annual close cycles.
You will prepare and review journal entries and account reconciliations.
You will ensure records follow U.S. GAAP standards.
You will maintain support schedules and clear documentation.
You will process vendor payments and employee expense reports.
You will oversee payroll processing and related entries.
You will manage assigned technical accounting areas, including internal use software.
You will work with FP&A to maintain the chart of accounts.
You will help keep reporting templates accurate and consistent.
You will support annual financial audits.
You will serve as the main contact for external auditors on assigned areas.
You will partner with internal teams during procure to pay activities.

Accuracy, consistency, and follow through are essential in all tasks.

Systems and Tools

This role requires strong system knowledge. You will work inside established tools and support improvements when needed.

You will use NetSuite as the primary accounting system.
You will work with procurement and payment tools such as Airbase or Bill.com.
You will support system changes and process updates when required.
You will help ensure data flows correctly across systems.

Compensation and Benefits

Apollo Graph offers market based compensation aligned with skills and experience. Pay decisions are made with fairness and consistency in mind.

The salary range for this role is $124,100 to $146,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience and location.

U.S. employees can choose from several medical plans through Anthem Blue Cross. California residents may also select Kaiser plans. Dental and vision coverage are provided through Sun Life Financial.
