About the Role

The AI Finance Manager plays a pivotal role in shaping EY’s AI Finance offering and supporting its implementation across diverse industries. You will develop finance data architectures, define data requirements, build extensible information models, and work with machine learning and generative AI tools to elevate finance capabilities. This role blends strategic leadership with hands-on expertise, requiring both technical depth and strong stakeholder management. You will partner with finance leaders, IT teams, data scientists, and consulting practitioners to drive enterprise-level data initiatives and unlock new levels of automation, accuracy, and intelligence in finance applications.

Responsibilities

  • Lead delivery of complex initiatives focused on AI-enabled finance transformation.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to design scalable data and system architectures for finance applications.
  • Translate business needs into detailed technical requirements and data specifications.
  • Execute the finance data management strategy, including data governance, data quality, and master data management.
  • Design and implement extensible data models to support the EY AI Finance Blueprint.
  • Develop documentation including data dictionaries, lineage diagrams, and ER models.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to align finance data with enterprise data initiatives.
  • Apply machine learning and generative AI techniques to enhance financial processes and reporting.
  • Support development of the common information model for the FDL Blueprint solution offering.
  • Provide leadership to engagement teams, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
  • Mentor junior consultants and foster a collaborative, inclusive team culture.
  • Stay current with advancements in AI, ML, finance technology, and Azure data services.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and insights within finance applications.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree with at least 5 years of relevant experience, or a graduate degree with 4 years of related experience.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in data management, including at least 1 year focused on finance application data or financial modeling.
  • Strong understanding of data governance, data quality, and master data management.
  • Experience with machine learning techniques, generative AI technologies, and Azure data services such as Azure Data Lake, Synapse, MS SQL, and Python.
  • Knowledge of finance applications including financial modeling across P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow.
  • Proficiency in data integration, data modeling, and data transformation tools.
  • Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred:

  • Degree in Finance, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Experience with finance data architecture design and ML-driven modeling.
