Role Overview

As National Sales Director, you will lead the management of a key book of business, driving growth, client satisfaction, and product adoption. You will oversee regional and OEM account teams, including sales, product, and training professionals. The role requires strong leadership, relationship-building skills, and the ability to develop custom solutions for clients.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Ensure smooth onboarding and implementation for new clients

  • Provide prompt resolution to service issues and maintain client satisfaction

  • Analyze reporting data to guide decisions and support renewals

  • Build and maintain relationships with assigned clients

  • Develop client-specific business plans, including upsell and renewal strategies

  • Collaborate with field partners on new business growth

  • Attend face-to-face client meetings as needed to present financial results and growth plans

  • Work cross-functionally with Sales, Underwriting, Claims, and Operations teams

  • Identify opportunities to increase product adoption, market penetration, and cross-sell services

  • Develop and execute strategies for growth within assigned accounts

  • Communicate clearly with clients and internal teams, delivering value propositions and service updates

  • Lead, train, and mentor a team of sales managers, product managers, and trainers

  • Implement client-specific sales plans and coordinate marketing support

  • Prioritize resources and initiatives to focus on strategic products and customers

  • Set and track sales targets for all direct reports

Qualifications

Candidates should have strong sales leadership experience, preferably in automotive services, insurance, or warranty sectors. The role requires national account management skills, team leadership, and a track record of exceeding performance expectations.

Required skills and experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience

  • 5+ years of national or regional account management experience

  • 3+ years in OEM automotive services, insurance, warranty, or third-party administration preferred

  • Proven record of meeting or exceeding multi-region performance goals

  • Strong leadership, relationship-building, negotiation, and presentation skills

  • Experience managing field teams of 5+ members with measurable results

  • Analytical and problem-solving abilities

  • Understanding of automotive warranty products and industry processes

  • Willingness to travel approximately 70%

  • U.S. work authorization and ability to pass a background check
