The role supports the origination and execution of investment banking mandates. You will help manage buy and sell-side M&A, cross-border transactions and capital markets work. You will prepare financial models, create client materials and guide junior team members during each stage of a deal. Key Responsibilities

Deal Origination and Execution

You will support new deal ideas and manage several active transactions. You will prepare pitch materials and attend client meetings during the early stages of each mandate. You will work with clients across the Industrials sector and support both domestic and cross-border work.

Due Diligence and Review

You will lead due diligence tasks for M&A and capital markets assignments. You will coordinate with teams, review documents and track findings through each stage of the process. You will prepare reports that help clients make informed decisions.

Financial Analysis and Valuation

You will prepare financial models and valuation work. This includes discounted cash flow analysis, LBO models, accretion and dilution studies, comparative company analysis, IPO pro forma analysis and sum of parts valuation. You will ensure all work meets the standards expected in a global banking environment.

Team Leadership and Coordination

You will guide analysts and associates, answer questions and help manage workflow. You will work closely with coverage teams and execution teams to support client needs. You may also help prepare engagement letters, confidentiality agreements and other documents tied to transactions.

Committee Support

You will help prepare materials for internal approval groups. These include Fairness Committee, Equity Commitment Committee and Leveraged Finance Committee. You will support capital commitment reviews and help present key transaction points.

Research and Market Review

You will conduct research using tools such as FactSet, Capital IQ, Bloomberg and Refinitiv. You will study market trends and competitive activity to support client discussions and transaction planning.

Travel and Work Structure

The role requires up to 15 percent domestic and international travel. Remote work is allowed if you live within a commuting distance of the office. Standard full time hours apply.

Required Skills and Experience

You need a master’s degree or an equivalent degree in fields such as Business Administration, Finance, Economics or Management Science. You must have at least three years of experience in a finance role related to investment banking. You must have experience in global investment banking transactions, M&A and capital markets execution. You must have strong valuation skills and experience leading junior team members. You must be able to prepare client materials and take part in client meetings.

A bachelor’s degree with five years of increasing responsibility may be accepted in place of a master’s degree. You must be able to manage due diligence tasks and support detailed valuation work. Travel of up to 15 percent is required.
