Role Overview

The Senior Manager will lead a team delivering AI and automation solutions, primarily in Assurance but also supporting Consulting projects. The role combines technical hands-on experience with assurance knowledge to innovate workflows, enhance efficiency, and increase overall value for the firm. The position requires translating business processes into technical solutions, managing offshore teams, and fostering adoption across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead a team of approximately six developers, mostly India-based, in delivering AI and automation solutions. • Serve as Product Owner and Delivery Lead, managing backlogs, sprint planning, quality assurance, and adoption strategies. • Translate Assurance and Consulting workflows into clear user stories and functional requirements. • Prototype and test AI and automation tools, collaborating with developers on proofs-of-concept. • Work with architecture, platform, and data teams to ensure alignment with governance and firm standards. • Evaluate vendor solutions and startup technologies, conduct proofs-of-concept, and recommend implementation strategies. • Present solution roadmaps, vendor evaluations, and outcomes to executive stakeholders. • Partner with service-line leaders to prioritize AI and automation opportunities and measure ROI. • Oversee QA, testing, deployment, and documentation to maintain solution consistency. • Promote adoption through training, internal communication, and demonstration of early successes. • Stay informed on emerging technologies, including GenAI, RAG, ML, workflow orchestration, and automation frameworks, translating them into practical applications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Computer Science, or related field; CPA preferred. • 6–8 years of experience in Assurance, Consulting, or Risk in large accounting or professional services firms. • Experience in Consulting environments, including Managed Services. • 3–4 years leading technology projects with hands-on solution design or prototyping. • Proven ability to manage distributed and offshore teams. • Strong knowledge of AI and automation technologies, including RPA, Python, GenAI frameworks, Databricks, LangChain, Javascript, or workflow tools. • Experience leveraging AI for coding, proof-of-concepts, and solution prototyping. • Familiarity with GitHub or other repositories for project work. • Agile delivery experience, Scrum Master or Product Owner certification a plus. • Ability to evaluate vendors and manage external partnerships. • Excellent executive communication and presentation skills.
