We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a growing retail business specializing in trendy and affordable clothing for a diverse clientele. With an expanding footprint in the Gweru fashion scene, our client is committed to delivering quality fashion pieces that resonate with modern tastes and lifestyles.
As the fashion retail landscape becomes increasingly competitive and digitally driven, Susan Boutique is looking to enhance its online presence and customer engagement. We are seeking a creative and results-oriented Digital Sales &Marketing Representative who will be instrumental in driving both in-store and online sales.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for growing the brand’s digital visibility, managing customer interactions on social platforms, and developing engaging content to attract and retain customers. This role requires a passion for fashion, a strong grasp of social media trends, and the ability to convert engagement into sales. You will collaborate closely with the boutique owner and in-store team to ensure a seamless customer experience from discovery to purchase.

Duties and Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities
Digital Sales & Marketing Execution
-Develop and implement digital marketing campaigns across major platforms including Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, and TikTok to increase brand awareness, online engagement, and drive traffic to both the online and physical store.
-Design and distribute visually appealing digital content, such as flyers, ads, promotional videos, and customer testimonials, tailored to specific audience segments to promote new arrivals, discounts, and special events.
-Manage and grow the boutique’s online presence by posting consistently, using relevant hashtags, leveraging influencer collaborations, and engaging in real-time conversations with followers.
-Monitor and respond promptly to customer inquiries on all social media platforms, ensuring a high level of responsiveness, friendliness, and professionalism.
-Run targeted promotions and competitions to boost visibility and encourage customer participation and brand loyalty.
-Analyze and track campaign performance metrics such as reach, engagement, click-through rates, and conversions; provide weekly reports and insights to guide strategy.
-Collaborate with the boutique owner and sales team to align promotions with seasonal trends, stock availability, and in-store marketing efforts.
-Promote in-store foot traffic by creating urgency through time-sensitive offers, product teasers, behind-the-scenes content, and customer spotlights.

In-Store Sales & Client Engagement
-Support walk-in clients by offering personalized styling suggestions, promoting trending items, and processing transactions when required.
-Assist with store merchandising, including setting up display areas that reflect online promotions, ensuring visual appeal and alignment with branding.
-Collect and document customer feedback to enhance the shopping experience and inform future marketing campaigns.

Supervisory Responsibilities
-Oversee the day-to-day execution of all digital marketing activities, ensuring campaigns are launched on time and align with the boutique’s branding and business goals.
-Lead coordination efforts between the digital marketing function and the in-store team, ensuring that promotional strategies are effectively implemented both online and offline.
-Ensure brand consistency across all touchpoints, including tone of voice, visual aesthetics, and messaging on social media, printed materials, and in-store communications.
-Coach junior staff or interns, where applicable, in executing content creation, customer interaction, and campaign rollout procedures.
-Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide strategic feedback and recommendations to management to optimize marketing performance and customer conversion.
-Propose innovative marketing ideas and seasonal strategies to keep the boutique ahead of market trends and competitors.

Qualifications and Experience

• 1–2 years’ experience in digital marketing or sales (fashion retail experience preferred)
• Proficient in social media platforms and basic graphic design tools (e.g., Canva)
• Excellent communication, writing, and customer engagement skills
• Passion for fashion and trends; strong sense of visual design and brand tone
• Proactive, creative, and organized with ability to meet weekly marketing goals
• Age Range Preference: 21–30 years
• Gender Preference: Female candidates preferred (to align with target audience and brand
tone)
• Must be based in or willing to work full-time from Gweru
