Duties and Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
– Oversee daily mining operations, ensuring production targets are met while maintaining safety and quality standards
– Develop and implement mining plans, strategies, and budgets to optimize production and minimize costs
– Lead and manage a team of mining professionals, fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement
– Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards
– Collaborate with other departments to achieve company goals and objectives
Qualifications and Experience
Requirements:
– Degree in Mining Engineering or related field
– Proven experience in mine management, in Zimbabwe, preferably gold mining.
• Valid Blasting license.
– Strong technical knowledge of mining operations, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements.
– Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
– Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make informed decisions
