Job Description
We hereby invites sealed bids from Zimbabwe-registered solar companies for the supply, delivery, installation, testing, and commissioning of a complete 12kV Solar Back-up Power System. This invitation is open exclusively to companies that are legally registered in Zimbabwe and in possession of valid statutory documentation.
Duties and Responsibilities
he successful bidder shall be responsible for the full design, supply, delivery, installation, and commissioning of a 12kV off-grid solar photovoltaic system, which must include but not be limited to:
– Design of the solar system based on the site’s energy requirements
– Supply and delivery of all components including:
-Solar panels
-Inverters
-Charge controllers
-Battery storage
-Mounting structures
-Wiring and accessories
– Installation and integration of the system
– Testing, commissioning, and handover
– User training and operation manuals
-Minimum 12-month post-installation warranty and support
Qualifications and Experience
Interested bidders must submit the following documentation with their proposal:
-Company Profile
-Proof of Registration with the Zimbabwe Registrar of Companies
-Valid Tax Clearance Certificate
-Proof of experience with similar solar installation projects (minimum of 3 references)
-Technical proposal including system configuration and capacity details
-Financial proposal clearly outlining all costs
– Project work plan and installation timeline

-Quality and technical soundness of proposed system
