We are inviting applications from suitably qualified and experienced candidates for the following positions at our new Electrosales Marondera branch:
Inventory Clerk
Duties and Responsibilities
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
• Responsible for issuing spot checks.
• Responsible for issuing new shelf talker prices together with the spot checks.
• Liable for comparing the quantities required by the system and confirming the counts are correct.
• Updating of stock definitions.
• Responsible for preparing adjustments to clear stock negatives within 48 hours.
• Variances which occur with spot checks and negatives are investigated; the inventory control officer should aim to get to the root of the problem and recommend a solution.
• Preparation of adjustments to the stock quantities in line with investigations, or with breakages and usage of product, to correct the system relative to actual stock on ground
• Responsible for printing and issue of price updates to floor staff.
• Preparation of manual orders to Central Stores.
• Maintenance of Stock Definitions.
• Responsible for recounts, investigation and preparation of documents for self-audit after stock take – to confirm whether the variances found at stock take were correct, and if not then to adjust as required
• Any other related duties that may be reasonably required.
Qualifications and Experience
Minimum Requirements:
• A minimum of 1 year of progressive experience.
• Diploma in Accounting, or equivalent experience.
3 A level Passes, 5 O levels Passes, or equivalent experience.
A clear understanding of relevant hardware products is a must.
• Strong detail orientation with the ability to work with a diversified workforce.
