Our client is a leading events planning company specializing in large-scale concerts, festivals, corporate events, and exhibitions. They are currently seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer to join their dynamic team, ensuring that all events are powered safely, reliably, and efficiently to meet the highest standards of excellence.
Duties and Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
– Design, install, and maintain electrical systems for various events
– 3D designing
– Ensure all electrical setups comply with safety regulations and standards
– Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues during events promptly
– Collaborate with event organizers, production teams, and vendors
– Conduct risk assessments and implement safety protocols
– Manage electrical equipment and inventory
– Oversee power distribution, cabling, lighting, and sound systems
Qualifications and Experience
Qualifications & Skills:
– Proven experience as an Electrical Engineer or similar role, preferably in live events, entertainment, or AV industry
– Strong knowledge of electrical codes, safety standards, and regulations
– Ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics
– Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
– Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing schedules
– Relevant certifications (e.g., BS electrical license, health & safety certifications) are preferred
Ability to solder very small pieces a plus
