Job Description

Mutare-based leading manufacturer and distributor in FMCG seeks a qualified and experienced versatile Accounts Clerk to join its Accounts team.

Job Purpose
To accurately inputting financial data into accounting systems, reconciling invoices, and assisting with general ledger maintenance.

Duties and Responsibilities

Key Duties and Responsibilities
Reporting to the Assistant Financial Accountant, the successful candidate will be responsible for;
• Performing daily data entry of financial transactions into the accounting ERPs.
• Maintaining and organizing financial files, records, and documentation, both electronically and in paper form.
• Assisting with month-end and year-end closing procedures.
• Preparing and file financial documents, such as vouchers, receipts, and reports.
• Assisting senior Accountants and the Finance Manager with ad-hoc tasks and projects as required.
• Performing any other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.

Qualifications and Experience

Qualifications, Experience and Personal Attributes
• 5 “O” levels at C or better in English language and mathematics.
• National Diploma in Accounting or equivalent.
• A minimum of two (2) years’ experience in a similar role preferably in FMCG industry.
• Working knowledge of SAP is added advantage.
• High level of accuracy, integrity, and ability to work under pressure.
