Contract: Fixed Term Contract
The Driver shall be responsible for supporting the Project personnel in efficient and effective implementation of all project activities in Masvingo, Matabeleland South and Midlands provinces in compliance with the donor award regulations and LCDZ policies and procedures.
Duties and Responsibilities
▪ Weekly checking of the motor vehicle fleet
▪ Basic knowledge of motor vehicle repairs and maintenance
▪ Ensure that all organisational vehicles are serviced on time
▪ Conducting periodic checks on the service tags, insurance and license discs
▪ Ensure that all organisational vehicles are re-fueled as and when required
▪ Ensure that all vehicles are clean and adhere to traffic safety council rules and regulations
▪ Ensure the delivery of any written communications to contacts outside the organisation
▪ Regular checking of the post office box for letters
▪ Ensuring the collection of written communications and other items from outside the organisation
▪ Payment of utility bills, purchase of stationery, provisions and other organisational requirements.
▪ Banking and payment of utility bills such as ZINWA, ZESA, TelOne and Econet
▪ Ensure that all LCDZ employees and project officers are driven safely to their respective destinations in and outside Harare
Qualifications and Experience

▪ Excellent understanding of disability inclusion and related legal and programme frameworks and
Standards
▪ Strong capacity to organise workload and meeting deadlines
▪ Clean Class1 or 2 or 4 Driver’s licence with at least 10 years driving experience.
▪ Basic knowledge or certificate in Motor Vehicle fleet management or transport and logistics
