Junior Geologist (Minerals Exploration)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Geologist to join our
minerals exploration team. The successful candidate will have expertise in core
logging, lithology interpretation, geological database creation, ore modelling, and
resource estimation, with a preference for experience in gold exploration.
Duties and Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
– Core logging and geological data collection
– Lithology interpretation and geological modelling
– Creation and management of geological databases
– Ore modelling and resource estimation
– Collaboration with senior geologists and exploration teams
Qualifications and Experience
Requirements:
– Degree in Geology or related field
– Experience in minerals exploration, preferably gold exploration
– Strong skills in core logging, lithology interpretation, and geological modelling
– Proficiency in geological software and databases
– Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
