  • Oversee multidisciplinary design teams and manage delivery across multiple projects or platforms (Level 8).
  • Drive large-scale, multi-market design programmes that integrate strategy, design, and technology (Level 7).

Strategy & Vision

  • Translate insights into user stories, flows, and tangible design deliverables (Level 9).
  • Influence product roadmaps, define scalable design practices, and embed human-centred design (Level 8).

Stakeholder & Client Engagement

  • Present design decisions clearly, using storytelling to influence stakeholders (Level 9).
  • Shape client relationships, ensuring design aligns with business goals and measurable value (Level 8).
  • Act as the primary partner to senior executives, framing design as a driver of business transformation (Level 7).

Systems & Innovation

  • Apply and evolve design systems to ensure accessibility, consistency, and scalability (Level 9).
  • Implement governance models, design operations, and AI-enabled workflows (Level 8).
  • Champion design innovation at scale, driving adoption of AI and identifying new opportunities for growth (Level 7).

Team Development & Culture

  • Mentor junior designers on craft, process, and stakeholder engagement (Level 9).
  • Coach and develop teams to balance strategic thinking with executional excellence (Level 8).
  • Build and grow design capability, culture, and talent pipelines across the organisation (Level 7).

Activities

  • As a Product Designer, you will be hands-on in shaping and delivering user-centred digital products. Your activities will span research, design, collaboration, delivery, and continuous evolution of products.

User Research & Analysis

  • Conduct user research through interviews, surveys, and usability testing to uncover needs, behaviours, and pain points.
  • Analyse qualitative and quantitative data (research insights, analytics, and market trends) to inform design decisions.
  • Create and maintain user personas, journey maps, and empathy maps to ensure design solutions align with target audiences.
  • Perform competitor benchmarking and best practice analysis to identify opportunities for differentiation and optimisation.

Interaction Design

  • Define information architecture to structure content and functionality for clarity and ease of use.
  • Map and design browsing flows that allow users to intuitively explore products and complete tasks.
  • Develop low- to mid-fidelity wireframes that establish structure, hierarchy, and interaction notes with detailed specifications.
  • Create interaction models that describe how users engage with an interface, ensuring behaviours and responses feel intuitive.

Visual Design & Prototyping

  • Design polished, functional, and accessible interfaces that align with the product vision and user needs.
  • Apply systematic design practices, contributing to and extending enterprise design systems and UI libraries.
  • Iterate on design solutions based on feedback from users, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams.
  • Build interactive prototypes to test and validate design concepts, ensuring seamless and engaging experiences.

Collaboration & Communication

  • Work closely with Product Owners and stakeholders to refine requirements, align design with business goals, and prioritise features.
  • Partner with Developers to ensure accurate implementation of designs, providing specifications, guidance, and clarifications.
  • Actively participate in agile ceremonies (stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives) to keep design integrated into delivery.
  • Present and articulate design concepts and rationale to teams and stakeholders, adapting communication styles for technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Create case study assets and showcases that highlight the value of design, reinforcing its impact within the organisation and with clients.
  • Support business development by contributing to bids, proposals, and pitch materials, demonstrating how design can generate value and differentiate Accenture’s offering.

Testing & Validation

  • Plan and conduct usability testing to validate design concepts and uncover improvement opportunities.
  • Collaborate with Product Owners, Developers, and Data Analysts to design and run A/B tests, using data to guide design refinements.
  • Incorporate insights from testing, feedback, and analytics to optimise experiences against user needs and business KPIs.

Continuous Improvement

  • Stay up to date with emerging design trends, tools, and methodologies, applying them to enhance practice.
  • Advocate for user-centred, inclusive design across the product lifecycle, ensuring accessibility and equity are built in.
  • Contribute to retrospectives and team reflections, identifying opportunities to improve workflows, tools, and ways of working.

Job Requirements

  • Experience with designing several mobile apps, that have launched in the market.
  • Tertiary qualification in Design, HCI, or a related field.
  • Proven ability to lead teams, scale systematic design practices, and embed efficient workflows.
  • Strong expertise in Figma, prototyping software, and the MS Office suite, with knowledge of AI-assisted design technologies.
