Taxation and Transfer Pricing Accountant

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

  • The Tax and Transfer Pricing Accountant is responsible for preparing and submitting CbCR and TP Local Files for the company. This position is required to provide advice on financial and tax matters. The Tax and Transfer Pricing Accountant holds expertise and provides support to ensure tax and TP legislation and planning compliance. This position takes responsibility for all related documentation, support and research any relevant issues, responding to tax and TP correspondence and assisting with the preparation of the annual tax provision and related tax reporting.
  • Preparation and completion of TP CbCR analysis and reporting
  • Preparation and completion of TP Local File documentation
  • Ability to engage with stakeholder management
  • Ability to interrogate and analyse data integrity and applicability
  • Reviewing and reconciling intercompany transaction data for tax compliance and tax audit purposes
  • Financial analysis
  • Financial statement analysis
  • Cash flow analysis
  • Balance sheet analysis and optimisation
  • Liquidity testing
  • Trend analysis
  • Keeping abreast of new and relevant legislation and developments globally
  • Work closely with the senior professionals to ensure that entities adhere to group TP guidelines
  • Ensure timely and accurate filing of all relevant submission requirements
  • Find solution to complicated tax/TP issues
  • Assisting management by ensuring that an efficient system is in place that will contribute to improving internal controls
  • Prepare responses related to all types of tax and collate the information required for TP audits and queries raised by relevant taxation regulators
  • Effectively managing TP risks and liabilities associated with intricate business transactions such as mergers and acquisitions

Academic qualifications and certifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or Taxation
  • HDip Tax/MCOM

Experience required:

  • Big four accounting firm experience
  • Multinational commercial exposure
  • CbCR reporting/review experience
  • Local file documentation experience
