System Specialist – Yardi – Fund System Operations
PURPOSE OF JOB
- The Yardi System Specialist will serve as the internal owner and subject matter expert of the Yardi Voyager platform, responsible for successful implementation, business adoption, optimisation, and ongoing operation within JTC’s Real Estate corporate and fund service line. This key role will drive governance, technical support, system enhancements, and process improvements, supporting client onboarding, migration projects, regulatory compliance, and high-quality service delivery as JTC scales its Yardi ecosystem across global jurisdictions.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
Platform Implementation & Onboarding
- Participate actively in the Yardi Voyager implementation project with RealFoundations (RF), including configuration, data migration, user acceptance testing, and training.
- Act as the liaison between the RF consulting team, IT, Finance, Operations, and business users to ensure requirements are understood and delivered.
- Own the JTC-specific onboarding documentation, quick reference guides, and business-as-usual blueprints.
Ongoing Platform Ownership & Governance
- Setup and implement appropriate Yardi Voyager governance and control framework
- Ensure Yardi Voyager system governance, controls, security, and compliance frameworks are maintained in line with industry best practices and JTC policies.
- Regularly audit user permissions, data integrity, and system configurations.
- Oversee upgrades, patching, and technical change testing to maintain operational stability and compliance with global standards.
Operational Support, Troubleshooting, and Process Optimisation
- Provide live operational support to platform users, resolving functional and technical queries and escalating to RF/Yardi support as required.
- Continuously seek opportunities to optimise system processes, workflows, and integrations, including leveraging additional modules and features as Yardi evolves.
- Maintain and document all system changes and integrations.
Client Migration & Business Transformation
- Lead and support client migration projects from legacy systems to Yardi Voyager, ensuring robust project management, stakeholder alignment, and risk mitigation.
- Support the phased rollout to additional jurisdictions (Jersey, Guernsey, Luxembourg, UK) and onboarding of new and existing client structures.
- Coordinate and validate end-to-end data migration and system readiness, ensuring accuracy and business continuity.
Training & Knowledge Transfer
- Develop and deliver JTC-specific training programmes and onboarding sessions for new users, including scenario-based UAT scripts.
- Ensure business users are equipped with up-to-date manuals, support resources, and best practice knowledge.
- Facilitate a structured knowledge transfer plan for future system enhancements and further phases of implementation.
Reporting & Analytics:
- Develop and maintain system performance metrics and dashboards for management reporting and operational decision-making.
- Support periodic regulatory and client reporting requirements as needed.
Continuous Improvement & Change Management
- Monitor system usage trends and industry developments to inform strategic platform enhancements.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, aligning platform capabilities with business goals and client expectations.
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
- Relative bachelor’s degree in related field.
- Experience (minimum 1–3 years) in Yardi system administration, ideally in real estate fund/corporate services or investment management environment.
- Experience in business system implementation, migration, upgrades, and ongoing support.
- Experience in data migration, project management, and reporting.
- Exposure to international, multi-jurisdictional fund administration is preferred.
- Understanding of system governance, controls, compliance, and risk management best practice.
- Excel/reporting skills, knowledge of Power BI, SQL, or similar analytics tools advantageous.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities, high attention to detail and data integrity.
