Minimum Qualification / Experience:

• Competent A Person
• Legal Liability
• Grade 12
• First Aid Certificate
• Basic Computer Skills
• Valid Drivers license
• 1-2 Year of Experience being a supervisor and managing mining operations activities and Staff
• Good Verbal and written communication skills
• Good Knowledge of equipment capabilities and operating principals
• Basic understanding of engineering principals and practices
• Able to work under pressure
• Flexibility to work outside of normal hours during emergencies and planned overtime
• Own Transport

Duties and responsibilities (not limited to)

• Supervise and manage the performance of mining operators, equipment and
• processes according to the operating plan and procedures
• Supervise, coordinate and motivate the mining team in responsibilities
• Coordinate activities of third-party contractors to minimize disruption of mining processes
• Ensure health and safety legislation and contractual obligations are adhere to
• Ensure complete confidentiality of all information pertaining to the business of the company
• Produce shift reports at the end of every shift
