Job Description

  • To lead, manage and guide an assigned team in the day-to-day operational duties an assigned reconciliations team, , and manage any complex breaks, queries or escalations, to ensure resources are effectively allocated, all entries are matched and breaks are timeously resolved. Perform reconciliations where required.

Qualifications

  • Diploma:Finance and Accounting

Experience Required

3-4 years’ experience in:

  • Intermediate knowledge of financial instruments, and relevant experience within the CIS (Collective investment schemes) industry.
  • Previous back-office experience working within a financial services industry, or asset manager.
  • Previous experience in building relationships and engaging with clients to gather required information, documentation and resolve queries.
  • Proven ability to lead and manage teams with the ability to prioritize and delegate tasks to meet daily / monthly targets.
  • Relevant reconciliations knowledge and experience, with a broad understanding of fund accounting and reconciliations systems, processes and procedures to perform reconciliations, as well as understanding key financial concepts and practices.
