Job summary:

  • We are seeking a seasoned Software Sales Representative with a strong background in software sales and a proven ability to engage with C-suite executives. This role is critical in driving the adoption of Raizcorp’s software solutions across key markets in South Africa.
  • The ideal candidate will excel at presenting complex solutions, generating high-quality leads, and closing high-value deals through both strategic outreach and cold calling.

Key responsibilities:

  • Develop executive relationships: Build and sustain relationships with C-suite and senior-level decision-makers across targeted industries.
  • Drive software sales: Execute a consultative sales approach to promote Raizcorp’s software offerings, identifying client needs and aligning them with tailored solutions.
  • High-impact presentations: Deliver compelling software demonstrations and presentations to stakeholders, showcasing clear ROI and technical value.
  • Strategic prospecting: Proactively identify new business opportunities through market research, cold calling, and networking.
  • Lead the sales cycle: Own the end-to-end sales process—from prospecting to negotiation and contract closure—with a focus on high-value engagements.
  • Market & competitor analysis: Stay abreast of industry trends and competitor activities to adjust strategies and maintain a competitive edge.
  • Collaborate with teams: Work closely with internal product and leadership teams to align sales strategies with company goals and customer feedback.
  • Represent Raizcorp: Attend industry events and conferences to build brand awareness and represent the company as a software thought leader.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, information technology, marketing, or a related field.
  • Experience: 5–8 years in software sales, preferably with a track record of engaging C-suite executives and closing complex B2B deals.

Skills:

  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills
  • Strong negotiation and deal-closing abilities
  • Ability to simplify complex software concepts for non-technical stakeholders
  • Strategic thinker with a proactive sales mindset
  • Technical: Proficient in CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot), Microsoft Office Suite, and familiar with SaaS and cloud-based technologies.
