Minimum Requirements:

• BCom Financial Management or relevant equivalent NQF Level 7 qualification
• 10 years’ experience in financial management environment

Core Responsibilities:

• Plan, organise, lead, manage, implement, control and monitor overall administrative and financial practices, ensuring compliance with accounting practices and Local Government Acts, in alignment with the overall finance strategy in respect of credit management
• Give input and implement strategic capability and leadership to support the strategic objectives of the division
• Perform and ensure operational processes to ensure that operational processes are delivered in accordance with set objectives
• Ensure governance and risk management to eliminate risk and ensure financial stability in accordance with relevant legislation
• Ensure financial processes to ensure compliance to relevant financial legislation and MFMA requirements
• Ensure customer service orientation to provide and improve customer service satisfaction
