Your Talent
- Minimum qualification: a degree in fashion design, or a related discipline
- Experience in retail or visual merchandising.
- 2 – 3 years Visual Merchandising experience
- Proficient in SAP; Excel; Word; Power Point; Outlook and Internet
- Driver’s License essential
- Willing to travel
Your Mission
- The Visual Merchandiser will be responsible for developing, delivering and communicating visual concepts and strategies to promote the brand, products and services in-store.
- Conducting research on current and future trends in design and lifestyle
- Liaising with internal Sales Managers and Retail Managers to discuss sales strategies
- Identify and source props, fabrics, hardware and lighting
- Maintain a budget and negotiate with suppliers for visual materials
- Work with architectural features of stores to maximise the available space
- Create visual merchandising packs to communicate visual guidelines
- Visit branches to coach in-store Visual Merchandise or Sales Teams
- Assemble or dismantle visual display on windows or in-store
- Comparison Shops [comp-shop]
- Motivate teams to complete displays to tight deadlines
- Plan for and merchandise at store openings
- Expert knowledge of the sporting, consumer goods industry, marketing and retail business
