Job Description

• A leading food production company located in Mahikeng is looking for an experienced Shift Manager to oversee operations at its processing plant. This is a great opportunity for a commercially astute manager to drive efficiency and uphold safety standards by supervising staff, communicating with other departments, and assisting with recordkeeping. Responsibilities:

• Oversee all operations within the Cold Store, Logistics, and Dispatch department during the allocated shift.
• Ensure that all SOPs are consistently followed.
• Monitor and enforce Health and Safety procedures and standards.
• Provide leadership, motivation, and supervision to employees during the shift.
• Ensure all processes are adhered to throughout shift operations.
• Communicate effectively with other departments and shift managers to maintain operational continuity.
• Complete shift reports and assist with recordkeeping and stock control.
• Operate and work with computer systems, including email and Excel, as part of daily duties.

Requirements:

• Matric (Grade 12).
• Prior experience in a cold store, logistics, or dispatch environment is an advantage.
• Computer literate, with a working knowledge of email and Excel.
