Job Description

• Responsible for all aspects of internal and external financial reporting and financial statements as it pertains to the SBSA Home Loans division.
• Implementation and monitoring of controls, ensuring a robust internal financial control environment. Managing the annual budgeting process.
• Providing leadership, vision and direction to the Home Loans accounting team, taking full accountability for the translation and implementation of finance strategy.

Qualification:

• Business Commerce, Finance and Accounting Post Graduate Degree
• CA(SA) qualified

Experience Required

• 8-10 years post article experience in a financial or management accounting role
• Good interpersonal and communication skills with ability to work across departments
• Experience managing a team
• Financial Services experience, with lending finance being advantageous
