Seasnal Lifeguarda X35 – Beaches (Period: 1 December 2025 to 31 January 2026)

Requirements:

  • Grade 10
  • Surf Proficiency Award certificate
  • Valid retest certificate
  • One (1) year relevant lifesaving experience

Key performance areas:

  • Rescues drowning persons
  • Patrols City beaches by checking local conditions of beaches
  • Renders first aid to the injured by dealing with necessary injuries
  • Operates rescue equipment including inflatable boat
  • Crowd control/Peace Officers duties
