Description

We are seeking a Sales Representative to drive market expansion, focusing heavily on acquiring and managing high-value retail partnerships.

Key Focus Areas

  • Retail Partner Acquisition (Top Priority): Proactively identify, negotiate, and onboard new retail partners to significantly expand distribution and market reach.
  • Sales & Promotional Management: Plan, execute, and report on all promotional activities to achieve and exceed Point-of-Purchase (POP) objectives and sales targets.
  • Operational Excellence & Technology: Ensure seamless operational execution within partner channels and manage key in-store technologies.
  • Stakeholder & Communication Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for retail partners and manage communication with all relevant internal and external stakeholders.
  • Customer Service Oversight: Maintain high standards of customer service quality within the retail network.

Requirements

Mandatory Requirements (What You’ll Need):

  • Experience: 2–3 years of sales experience in a Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) environment, ideally at a supervisory or managerial level.
  • Education: Diploma or equivalent qualification (NQF Level 5 minimum).
  • Mobility (CRITICAL): MANDATORY compulsory ownership of a reliable vehicle/car and a valid Driver’s License (Code 8/B).
  • Communication & Selling: Exceptional Communication Skills (verbal and written) and persuasive Selling Skills.
  • Leadership & Organization: Proven Leadership Skills and expert Organising Skills.
  • Business Acumen: Strong Business Acumen, Analytical Skills, and effective Decision Making.
  • Negotiation: Highly developed Negotiation Skills essential for retail partner acquisition.
  • Initiative: Effective Problem-Solving capabilities and Pro-active Thinking.
  • Attention to Detail: Excellent Attention to Detail and high level of Computer Literacy.
  • Regulatory: Foundational knowledge of Industrial Relations principles.
