Requirements and Expectations

Minimum Requirements

• A Senior Certificate (Grade 12) or relevant qualification.
• A National Diploma in Records Management, Archives, Human Resource Management, Administration, or Public Management will serve as an added advantage.
• Relevant experience in registry functions will serve as an added advantage.
• The disclosure of a valid, unexpired driver’s license will serve as an added advantage.
• Computer literacy (MS Office packages).
• Knowledge of human resources functions and practices, and the ability to capture data, operate office systems, and compile administrative statistics.
• Basic knowledge of HR prescripts and financial operating systems (PERSAL).
• Understanding of the legislative framework governing the public service.
• Familiarity with storage and retrieval procedures within an office environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work under pressure.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide counter and client service functions.
• Handle all incoming and outgoing correspondence efficiently.
• Render effective filing and records management services.
• Operate office machines and registry systems.
• Process documents for archiving and disposal according to approved procedures.
