Minimum Requirements:
- Accounting Degree or relevant equivalent NQF Level 7 qualification
- Accountancy III (Local Government)
- 10 years’ experience in Local Government
- Computer literacy
- Specialist capabilities in customer service orientation and management
- A valid driver’s license
Core Responsibilities:
- Strategically manage and monitor customer services across various customer care centres to ensure that these services are consistently applied to the highest standards possible and are in line with the communication and branding management strategy for CoE
- Provide strategic capability and leadership into the divisional objectives to ensure that resources required to support the strategic objectives are met
- Ensure the implementation of operational processes to regulate specific work processes to ensure that the operational processes are delivered at the correct time, at the right price, location, quantity and quality
- Ensure adequate implementation and maintenance of governance and risk management to ensure governance compliance and reduction/elimination of risk in management of revenue
- Ensure monitoring and controlling of effective financial processes to ensure effective financial control
- Ensure proper customer service orientation to satisfaction of role players to provide customer service satisfaction
