Job Summary
- Are you a tech-savvy professional with a passion for security and identity management? We are on the lookout for a highly skilled Quest Support Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will provide top-notch technical support, configuration, monitoring, and operational maintenance of Quest tools across our Active Directory and security landscape. Your expertise will ensure operational continuity, regulatory compliance, and strategic identity and access management (IAM) functions.
Key Responsibilities:
Quest Active Roles:
- Manage & Support: Oversee Active Roles for delegation, provisioning, and automation in Active Directory.
- Develop & Maintain: Create and sustain workflows and policies within Active Roles.
- Troubleshoot: Resolve directory synchronization and delegation issues efficiently.
- Governance: Ensure governance and enforce least-privilege access.
Quest GPOADmin:
- Lifecycle Management: Support the lifecycle management and auditing of Group Policy Objects (GPOs).
- Change Management: Implement controlled GPO change management processes with versioning, rollback, and auditing.
- Monitoring: Keep an eye on policy conflicts and compliance risks using GPOADmin.
Quest On Demand Audit Hybrid Suite for AD:
- Configuration & Support: Set up and maintain hybrid auditing (cloud and on-premises AD).
- Reporting: Generate and analyze real-time change reports for audit readiness.
- Incident Response: Integrate alerting and incident response actions for critical AD changes.
Quest Recovery Manager for AD Disaster Recovery Edition:
- Backup & Recovery: Maintain and test backup and recovery operations for Active Directory environments.
- Simulation: Conduct forest/domain-level AD recovery simulations as part of DR testing.
- Coordination: Lead AD recovery efforts during actual outages or security incidents.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Experience: 3+ years of hands-on experience with Quest software in an enterprise AD environment.
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of Microsoft Active Directory, Group Policy, and Azure AD.
- Expertise: Proven experience with identity lifecycle, change management, and access controls.
- Familiarity: Knowledge of ITIL practices and service management tools (e.g., ServiceNow).
- Scripting: Proficiency in PowerShell scripting and automation is highly beneficial.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (preferred).
- Certifications: Quest product certifications (preferred) and Microsoft certifications (e.g., MCSA, Azure Administrator) are advantageous.
