Job Description

• We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Quality Control Intern to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and supporting both internal and external audits. This role requires a strong understanding of microbiology, and quality control procedures.

Minimum Requirements

• Candidates must provide a recent letter from the institution indicating the need for P1 and P2 exposure in Biotechnology, Food Technology.
• Candidate must have a minimum 70% overall average on academic transcript
• Strong understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices and quality control procedures.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Assist in supervision of cleaning staff and cleaning program.
• Ensure a clear route of communication up, down and sideways.
• Accompany the audit team for certification and surveillance audits.
• Assist in controlling all food safety documents (internal and external).
• Provide food safety training to staff.
• Investigate customer complaints.
• Pest management.
• Monitor quality of water used in the factory.
• Maintain hygiene standard inside the factory.
• Ensure that microbiological and chemical tests are conducted as per schedule and investigate deviations.
• Update and make changes on the product specifications.
• Conduct GMP inspections and PRP management.
• Conduct plant food safety and Quality checks as per requirements.
• Report to QAT on out of specification issues regarding food safety.
• Manage all aspects of food safety within the processing plant and all related processes.
• Take necessary corrective actions on any deviations regarding food safety.
• Report  of non-conforming products.
