Projects and Maintenance Clerk -JHB
Your key areas of responsibilities will include:
- Managing suppliers
- Suppliers follow ups
- Ensure suppliers deliver on due dates
- Facilitate meetings with suppliers
- Preparing projects/maintenance/facilities reports
- Maintain projects/maintenance/facilities schedule. Ensure outstanding takes of a projects/maintenance/facilities are resolved timeously
- Ensure projects/maintenance/facilities are executed on a due date
- Keep management updated on the active projects/maintenance/facilities
- Obtain costs tracking sheets from suppliers during a projects/maintenance/facility and present to management on a regular basis
- Ensure all staff from Footgear and suppliers are on the same page before a projects/maintenance/facility starts
- Ensure projects/maintenance/facilities cost spend are in line with budget
- Regular and realistic site visits per projects/maintenance/facilities are done
- Cost forecasting for a projects/maintenance/facility and present to management
- Make a decision if a projects/maintenance/facilities deadline will not be met and inform management
- Consult with stake holders
Requirements:
- Matric (Grade 12)
- A relevant Diploma/Degree will be an added advantage
- Excellent planning and organisational skills
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Comfortable in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills
- Relevant experience will be an added advantage
- Long hours and over time will be required from time to time
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
