Requirements
- A relevant three-year tertiary qualification, preferably a Diploma/ B degree in Property Management/ Build Environment or related Admitted conveyancer
- Eight (8) years’ or more relevant experience in property management at middle management
- A valid driver’s licence
- Computer Proficiency in MS Office.
- SPECIAL CONDITIONS TO THE ROLE:
- Physically fit and able-bodied for site inspections.
Key Performance Areas
- Manage the conveyancing functions for the acquisition and disposal of properties to ensure compliant, effective and efficient transfers
- In consultation with the relevant officials in the Department, assist with drafting sale/lease contracts of City land as approved
- Advise on immovable property and related legislation to guide, influence decisions and negotiations to the benefit of Council and the relevant stakeholders
- Improve and facilitate cooperation between departments to ensure accurate information dissemination and timeous responses to queries and assist in maintaining the City’s integrity and ensuring compliance with the legislative framework.
