Key Responsibilities:

  • Step into the fast-paced world of eCommerce Marketing & partner-up with the Senior Omni Marketing Co-Ordinator to execute Direct Marketing strategies for our wide range of the biggest local & internal brands within the Sportscene & Archive online space.
  • Part of your day to day will be creating & scheduling emailers within Bloomreach that have been plotted according to what we are currently focusing on, which could be anything from new product launches, campaigns, offers and/ or sales.
    In order to ensure we are on time to market, you will need to ensure that all relevant creative assets have been briefed into our Design Team using our month product launch calendar. All briefing is done on monday.com to ensure full team visibility and ownership.
  • As a marketer we want to ensure full visibility of our new product launches, campaigns, offers and/ or sales therefore you will need to ensure that these are communicated with our internal TFG Rewards Team, as we a few external Teams were relevant, e.g. Malls such as Canal Walk. 
  • As you will be working closely with the Omni Merchants, you will work closely is assisting the Team with; Calendar reminders to ensure that no launches or campaigns are missed that need to go live on our sites. 
    Website quality checks new product launches, campaigns, offers and/ or sales.
    Ensuring the website storefronts are kept fresh with new creative as well as product displays carousels.
  • On monthly basis emailer reports need to be complied for Merchant & Management meetings. We not only pull for our day-to-day emailers, we also assist in providing reporting to the Brand Managers for any of their campaigns focuses for the month, this will include any website storefront representation that supported the campaign.
  • As we are a part of a bigger group being The Foschini Group, we work closely with their Rewards Team, not only by providing them with our campaigns to include in their broader marketing, but we are also able to request information from them such as emailer addresses and or SMS requests to further our marketing efforts when there is a need based on trade.
  • Lastly you will work alongside the biggest local & internal brands such a Nike, adidas Originals, Puma to name a few by collaborating with their marketing teams by attended bi-weekly brand meetings & at times going off site to meet in person to view product ranges & discuss marketing strategies going forward.
  • As with any job, there are your ad-hoc day to day tasks that will occur, and as we are believe in Team work here at Sportscene & Archive, we always assist when & where we can- there’s always something to do.

Qualification and Experience:

  • Marketing qualification
  • 1-2 Years experience within an Online/Omni Marketing role
