Duties and responsibilities:
- Address third-party queries.
- Address employee queries.
- Capture correspondence on permanent personnel.
- Capture deductions manually and import.
- Create vendors for vouchers.
- Create vouchers for employees and third parties.
- Review all claims as submitted by departments for compliance with legislation and policies.
- Reconcile control accounts.
Inherent requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or an advanced diploma/BTech degree/postgraduate certificate on NQF Level 7 or a three-year national diploma on NQF Level 6, in Finance/Accounting or closely related field.
- Minimum of two (2) years’ relevant working experience relating to the duties and responsibilities.
Recommendations:
- Comprehensive knowledge of South African Employee Tax.
- Experience within the higher-education environment.
- Knowledge of university systems, policies, and procedures.
