Job description
- Design and develop training calendars for all regions.
- Allocate venues, platforms and training rooms.
- Communicate meeting requests to internal and external Educators for all class bookings.
- Manage and co-ordinate practical and theoretical training bookings, cancellations and reminders.
- Ensure Education team are timeous in set up of pratical classrooms; registers, pens, presentation notes, feedback forms, electronic cables are correct and presentation / sound tested prior.Â
- Arrange and conduct overflow SO training for citizen and FP’s monthly, as well as some specialised Master Classes.
- Manage and co-ordinate instore training and talkshows.
- Assist with the marking of theorectical assessments and feedback forms when necessary.
- Collection of registers, assessments and feedback forms from SO citizens performing training.
- Back up Educator (online) and practical classes (inland).
- Capturing of training reports and communicate weekly to the group.
- Ongoing research and development of new training material.
- Oversee and approve the updating of training manuals, presentations, and assessments (practical and theoretical).
- Ensure manual / presentation for each Sorbet training listed.
- Works with Supplier to develop course contents for the Academies inline with SETA accreditation.
- Plan and co-ordinate Academy Open Days in all regions.
- Annually design and develop Academy training calendars for all regions.
- Oversee interviewing and enrolling of potential Academy students (inland and support regions).
- Capture Academy / student payments.
- Assist and support Educators with the planning and organising of Pop-Up Events.
- Oversee and approve the updating of training manuals, presentations and assessments (practical and theoretical)
- Back up assessor for hair division (inland). Support regional recruiters.
- Work in conjunction with OPS Regional Manger in the standardisation of Thresholds (annually).
- Attend activity meetings for new stores / change of ownership.
- Schedule and attend One on One meetings for new stores / change of ownership.
- Assist new FP in conducting and scheduling interviews.
- Coordinate & schedule supplier training for new citizens – Notify: Suppliers / Citizens & FP.
- Identify & form partnership / relationships with reputable colleges.
- Co-ordinate the assessment of learners and placement into stores in conjuction with Recruiters.
- Develop & update supporting administrative documents – registers / feedback documents.Â
- Update database for JHB and oversee /review Regions.
- Liase with suppliers and procurement for new product launches.
- Ongoing development of training for new product launches.
- Managing communications between franchisees and internal teams.
- Maintain and update SOP for all new product proposals.
- Manage, guide and support the Hair Education department nationally. Ensure they meetÂ
- their minimum score card requirements.
- Set time aside to perform internal Educator Evaluations.
- Send out communication regarding changes / implementations regarding Education.
- Assist with all FP and citizen training queries.
- Respond to emails within a 48 hour time frame.
- Continuous updating of national training dashboard and analyse all regions.
- Compile and complete monthly dashboards and national monthly reports.
- Ensure weekly uploading of documents onto the server / teams by Educators (Friday, 3 pm).
- Ensure that filing is completed timeously by the Educators. Arrange annual archiving of documents.
- Monthly ordering of stationary and training refreshments / snacks.
- Ensuring accurate stock take is completed quarterly. Place orders and manage expenses.
- Annually set budgets and track expenses for the Hair Education department.
- Problem solving and support FP and GR team in the resolution of complaints.
- Assist with performing upgrade assessments (hair division).
- Assist with communication pertaining to uniform orders for existing stores.
- Manage, guide and support the Recruitment nationally.
- Complete Charge Sheet for inland and support regions – submit monthly by the 3rd
- Complete National Recruitment Monthly Report.
- Attend and co-ordinate department meetings.
- Willingness to perform other duties assigned by management.
Experience and Education
- Degree, Diploma, or relevant qualification in Hair.
- At least 3 years training, recruiting and development experience.
- Facilitators, Assessors and Moderators
- Be proficient in Microsoft OfficeÂ
