Job Description

• A Mining house based in the Northern Cape is looking for an experienced Technical Services Manager

Duties:

• Provides strategic, technical, and operational leadership to optimise the performance of all Technical Services functions
• Ensures effective management of geology, exploration, mine planning, survey, rock engineering, functions, and the end-to-end value chain

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in mining engineering, Geology, or a related field, with a postgraduate qualification in management (MDP/MBA) being advantageous
• Mine Managers Certificate of Competency
• Minimum of 10-15 years experience in the mining industry, including significant time in technical services and mine planning roles
• At least 4-5 years in a senior management role
• Experience in both open-pit and underground mining operations
