Description
- An opportunity exists for a Marketing Manager reporting to the Hospital Manager. The successful candidates will be responsible for developing and implementing the marketing strategy for the hospital in alignment to the Group Marketing strategy.
- The Marketing Manager will be responsible for the day to day running of the Marketing department including planning of internal and external strategic programs/events that build relationships with various stakeholders and the recruitment of new specialist working at the hospital.
Critical Outputs
- Develop and implement Marketing strategy within budget, in conjunction with overall hospital strategy.
- Maintain high level of knowledge of Hospital’s clinical services.
- Provide marketing and communications support to internal and external hospital stakeholders.
- Create and maintain Doctor’s engagement strategy (GP’s and Specialists) including relationships building to increase referrals.
- Develop and implement of marketing and communications initiatives aimed at various stakeholders including patients, potential patients and the local community at large.
- Interpret hospital performance including patient survey/complaints outcomes and take appropriate focused marketing actions.
- Develop informative, brand compliant brochures, information leaflets and other branded marketing material to support marketing and communications initiatives in line with set brand standards.
- Drive marketing campaigns internally and externally and measure results.
- Maintain awareness of competitor activity and general healthcare updates.
- Plan and coordinate various media communication interventions.
- Management of the hospital social media platforms.
- Drive hospital awareness within and beyond the province.
- Generate statistics and reports from available hospital information in order to analyze referral patterns and build a knowledge base to inform strategies and plans.
- Recruitment of doctors.
Requirements
- A relevant marketing, public relations or communication degree with three years’ experience.
- Ability to compile and process relevant marketing research information.
- Hospital experience in a marketing/communication role will be advantageous.
- Experience in Doctor Recruitment and Retainment will be advantageous
- Computer proficiency.
- Ability to travel (own transport)
