Job Description
THE JOB AT A GLANCE:

  • As an expert in Learning and Leadership Development, you enable us to meet our company’s capability needs, drawing on latest  leadership and learning thought leadership and practices.  This includes developing a comprehensive and best practice learning  and leadership development agenda to drive the acceleration of capability building and implementation of leadership initiatives to ensure business impact

Responsibilities
WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Develop a robust and comprehensive the Learning and  Leadership Development Architecture for Tiger to drive the acceleration of learning at Tiger and implement learning strategies and programs
  • Provide strategic advice (interpret, integrate, apply judgement and determine relevance) on all Learning and Development Matters
  • Partner with PE Teams and Business to identify capability gaps and develop plans for closure working to actively identify solutions, track progress and monitor returns
  • Drive and enable a learning culture through the crafting of a skills and competency library for Tiger Brands, design of learning plans that support personal development plans and succession plans
  • Lead the shaping of the development of Tiger Academies (HR, IT, Finance, Legal, Marketing, R&D, Customer & Supply Chain and Leadership)
  • Define and Implement the measurement of the value of learning order to improve quality of work, productivity and retention. This includes the effectiveness of all learning aspects including assessments
  • Develop systems, processes and technology to track and monitor learning delivery at Tiger
  • Determine organizational development needs and develop gap closing strategies
  • Utilise performance and talent management, people development plans and succession planning to analayse learning requirements and the provision of applicable programmes
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive Tiger Brands-wide leadership competency framework, providing comprehensive development tools for each competency
  • As a talent segment, design Leadership and High Potentials Development programmes to make Tiger Brands’ leaders more effective
  • Conduct needs analysis studies and align with leadership to determine learning needs based on competencies, organisational changes and other external factors
  • Evaluate leadership development programme effectiveness on an ongoing basis
  • Lead leadership onboarding and targeted orientation initiatives
  • Lead the design, development and implementation of leadership development initiatives
  • Implement the coaching and mentoring model and framework

Qualifications
ESSENTIAL SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in organizational development, HR, education, instructional design or a related field required (Post Graduate degree an advantage)
  • 10 years of overall experience with at least 5 years’ experience/exposure in learning and leadership development
  • Prior experience in designing Learning & leadership development frameworks across different workforce segments and turning this into toolkits
  • Demonstrated ability to maximize leader performance through developing and introducing leadership initiatives
  • Strong understanding and proven track record of demonstration of effective leadership behaviours
  • Learning strategy and frameworks that ignite our employees to perform, grow, thrive and innovate through education, exposure and experience
