Junior Manager Financial Services

Job Specification

  • Reporting to Financial Services Manager, the incumbent would be responsible for evaluating risk within a sub-section of portfolio. Makes the credit decisions and is held accountable for all decisions made within a specified mandate.

Minimum Requirements

  • BCom degree / BAgric
  • 2 years related experience in an agricultural retail sector
  • Ability to effectively communicate and/or negotiate with good level of proficiency
  • Knowledge of credit management processes and controls

  • Implementation of appropriate application scorecards and affordability models
  • Ability to execute in a diverse environment by building a deep understanding of the company’s products and consumers to develop narratives that translate those concepts to broad consumer audiences and customer experiences
  • Lowering debt risk through negotiating increased securities

Optimisation

  • Execute the lending portfolio and continually optimize risk strategy for acquisition, fraud, and collection
  • Utilise statistical and segmentation tools to develop/optimize acquisition risk strategies for loan products

Leveraging Culture & Diversity

  • Ability to lead a high impact team and collaborate with different stakeholders
  • Ensures a sound credit risk management culture through awareness amongst the internal and external stakeholders

Digital Transformation

  • Driving the automation/optimization of credit management processes and control platforms
  • Develop consumer-facing content across a variety of segments to publicise the company’s products & brands
