- As an ICT Sales Account Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in expanding the client base—sourcing and securing new business while also growing and retaining existing accounts with a laser focus on a 90% contract retention rate. From cross-selling and upselling ICT solutions to providing tailored, timely support, your goal is clear: drive growth while delivering top-tier service that keeps clients coming back.
Key responsibilities include:
Sales & Target Achievement
- Consistently meet or exceed sales targets and KPIs.
- Proactively engage in cold calling to acquire new clients.
- Maximize client value through upselling and cross-selling.
- Maintain regular contact with clients and focus on business development.
Client Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and new clients.
- Analyze customer accounts to uncover new opportunities.
- Ensure consistent service and engagement across your client base.
Query Resolution
- Respond to client queries promptly, providing feedback within 24 hours.
- Ensure client issues are resolved effectively and professionally.
Reporting & Insights
- Deliver weekly pipeline updates and daily sales reports.
- Submit accurate monthly base reports and maintain up-to-date opportunity records.
- Share market insights, forecasts, and competitor intelligence.
Process & Compliance
- Follow all internal policies and procedures.
- Capture all client interactions accurately in relevant systems.
We require:
- Matric/Grade 12 is essential.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in ICT Sales or Account Management with a proven track record.
- Solid understanding of the telecommunications ICT industry and its product offerings.
- Experience handling corporate clients, large accounts, and tenders.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and time management skills.
- Self-motivated, solution-oriented, and able to perform under pressure.
