Job Advert Summary

  • HR Consultant – Talent Management will be responsible for the development and execution of a data-driven Talent Management Strategy that enhances employee experience, drives mobility and retention, and cultivates a high-performance culture aligned with organisational goals.

Minimum Requirements    
Minimum Education:

  • An Honours Degree in HR or equivalent (NQF 8).

Desirable Education:

  • Master’s Degree in HR or equivalent (NQF 9)
  • Professional registration with SABPP ( level of HR Professional or higher).

Minimum Experience:

  • Minimum of 8–10 years progressive experience in Human
  • A valid code 8 driver’s

Desired Experience:

  • Proven experience in designing and implementing succession planning, career development frameworks, workforce planning, and EVP (Recognition & Rewards) strategies.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional talent initiatives and manage complex HR projects with measurable impact.
  • Knowledge of HRIS would be advantageous
  • Knowledge of SAP would be advantageous

Primary Duties

  • Develop and implement integrated talent management strategies and frameworks to drive mobility, retention, and a high-performance culture, including succession planning, workforce planning, and employee experience.
  • Deliver talent management solutions aligned with an innovation-driven, risk-based strategy and 4IR workforce needs.
  • Ensure client engagement and strategic alignment to foster a growth mindset and enable upskilling and reskilling initiatives.
  • Design and implement enterprise-wide talent management initiatives to build a sustainable pipeline and ensure business continuity.
  • Design talent management processes that enhance employee experience across the lifecycle—from acquisition to development—supporting organisational goals.
  • Provide assurance and monitoring to ensure consistent and effective application of talent processes and systems.
  • Mitigate talent risks by fostering an enabling environment that supports retention and long-term workforce sustainability.
  • Lead ongoing projects and research within talent management to support evolving organisational objectives.
  • Conduct research, talent analysis, and benchmarking of best practices, producing concept and position papers that build internal competencies and create strategic value.
  • Develop an internal talent marketplace leveraging technology and automation to identify and mobilise internal talent for growth and agility.
