Position Summary:
- Our company is seeking a highly motivated and experienced FMCG Logistics Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of logistics operations for our fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) products, ensuring timely delivery, inventory management, and overall efficiency in the supply chain process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement logistics strategies to optimize supply chain performance and reduce costs
- Manage and coordinate transportation, warehousing, and distribution activities for FMCG products
- Monitor and track inventory levels to ensure timely and accurate delivery to customers
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to forecast demand and plan inventory replenishment
- Identify and resolve logistics issues to improve operational efficiency and customer satisfaction
- Analyze data and metrics to identify trends and make strategic recommendations for process improvements
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies
- Supervise and train logistics team members to ensure a high level of performance and productivity
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, or related field
- At least 5 years of experience in logistics operations, preferably in the FMCG industry
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Proficient in using logistics software and tools
- Ability to multitask, prioritize workload, and meet deadlines
- Knowledge of inventory management best practices
- Familiarity with transportation regulations and compliance requirements
