Job Description

• Draws merchandise from the stockroom as requested. Responsible for marking and bringing merchandise onto the floor and packing it onto the shelves.

Requirements

• Grade 12 or NQF4
• Experience in agricultural retail serve as recommendation
• At least 1 – 3 years’ experience transport, warehousing, or logistics operations
• Required to work weekends and public holidays as per roster
• Knowledge of load planning, weight distribution, and safety regulations
• Physically fit and able to manage heavy-duty tasks
• Clear Criminal Record

Duties and Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, and oversee the loading and unloading of cargo and goods
• Ensure weight distribution and securing of loads comply with safety standards
• Inspect cargo and documentation for accuracy before dispatch
• Coordinate with drivers, dispatchers, and warehouse staff
• Keep accurate records of loads, movements, and reconciliations
• Monitor and report any deviations, damages, or incidents during loading/unloading
• Uphold company values and maintain a safe working environment
