Job Description
- Be a part of this fast-growing team and help leading digital marketers bring in the next generation of B2B and B2C media. As the Jellyfish Direct Investment pillar, we steward a diverse media practice in close collaboration with our partners and other in-house teams (particularly Media Strategy and Programmatic).
- The Senior DI Manager plays a critical role in driving strategic media planning and execution while also overseeing the team’s work and acting as a key point of contact for senior leadership, clients, and partners.Reporting to the Direct Investment Director.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Craft media recommendations that reflect strategic partner and tactic selection in order to demonstrate thought leadership and data-driven decisions making in alignment with client objectives; Ensure these plans include negotiated value and savings.
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients and partners, providing useful insights and building strong, long-term relationships.
- Develop a team of Managers and Executives, providing mentorship and performance feedback to support growth and continuous improvement.
- Oversee campaign execution from planning to optimisation, ensuring delivery and troubleshooting issues as needed; Seamlessly navigate campaign complexities as the number of partners, tactic types, and financial requirements increases.
- Collaborate with analytics to convert campaign data into actionable insights, leading the team in delivering optimization recommendations in alignment with stated KPIs.
- Continuously refine media buying processes for greater efficiency and effectiveness, establishing and upholding best practices.
- Proactively forecast timelines and resources required, providing senior leadership with regular updates on team performance, campaigns, and outcomes.
- Partner with senior leaders to align on priorities, address challenges, and ensure smooth campaign execution.
Qualifications
Qualifications & Core Competencies
- 5+ years experience handling direct partnerships (particularly bringing digital video and OOH media to market for B2C accounts)
- Comfortable with data manipulation in Excel/G-sheets and with tools like Tableau
- Commercially astute (eg extensive knowledge of the media landscape)
- Proven ability to stay organised and ensure accuracy in work
- Manages time and tasks effectively across the team
- Previous team management experience
- Client-centric – You’ll love getting to know your clients, developing long-lasting relationships and adding value to their business.
- Analytics & Reporting – You’ll be a whizz at using data and market insights to inform decisions and develop business strategies.
- Process Improvement – You seek and implement solutions to streamline and automate processes.
