Description
- Oversee the development of an agricultural greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions reduction plan.
- Manage stakeholder engagements for the GHG emissions reduction plan.
- Lead the estimation of GHG emissions in the agricultural sector.
- Lead climate change mitigation scenario exercises for the agricultural sector.
- Collect and analyze primary and secondary data.
- Write reports and scientific articles.
- Present research results at scientific conferences.
Requirements
- PhD degree in Agrometeorology / Sustainable Agriculture / Environmental Science / Environmental Management.
- Applicants should be highly motivated graduates with a strong academic background.
- Strong background in carbon management and greenhouse gas emissions research.
- Strong skills in science-policy interface.
- Good communication skills (written and verbal).
- Willingness to travel to rural farming areas.
- Valid driver’s licence (code 08/EB).
