As R&D Process Manager, you will:
- Identify and implement enhancements in production processes to boost efficiency, reduce waste, and elevate product quality.
- Design and execute experimental trials to understand how ingredients, processes, and technologies influence product outcomes. Translate findings into practical solutions for production.
- Ensure our pilot facility operates at state-of-the-art standards, including equipment maintenance, calibration, and audits.
- Prepare and oversee trials in both lab and factory settings, analyze results, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve production issues.
- Provide structured, proactive updates and foster strong communication with local and remote stakeholders.
- Supervise the daily work of one lab and sensory technician, supporting their development and ensuring smooth operations.
Profile
To be able to achieve the above and be successful in this role we believe you need to have:
- Master’s degree in Food Technology, Agriculture, Biotechnology, or equivalent experience.
- 2–5 years in a similar R&D or process management role.
- Experience in food processing is essential; knowledge of fruit-based snack manufacturing is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Hands-on mentality with a proactive, positive attitude & Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Discretion in handling confidential information.
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently and collaboratively.
- Fluency in English is required; additional languages are a plus.
