Job Specification

• The incumbent will assist with the coordination and administration of the operational activities of the Silo. Be responsible for the receiving, storage and distribution of commodities, ensuring that all customers receive efficient, timeous service. 

Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12
• 3 years related experience
• a Grading Certificate for winter grains, maize and fumigation
• Computer literacy

Key performance indicators include:

• The coordination of the operational actions of the silo
• The receipt and dispatch of grain products
• Grading and fumigation of grain products
• Supervision and inventory control
• Safety and maintenance inspections
• Inventory control; sales and administration of fuel
• Ad hoc functions relating to the above
