Job Summary

Requirements and Expectations
Minimum Requirements
- A Senior Certificate (Grade 12) or an equivalent relevant qualification.
- One (1) to two (2) years of experience in Supply Chain Management (Acquisition Management) will serve as an added advantage.
- The disclosure of a valid, unexpired driver’s license will serve as an added advantage.
- Computer literacy (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook/Exchange).
- Basic knowledge of financial operating systems (SAP).
- Understanding of the legislative framework governing public service and supply chain processes.
- Knowledge of administrative procedures and workflow processes within a working environment.
- Strong communication (verbal and written), organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently, show initiative, and function effectively within a team.
- Demonstrated ethical conduct, accountability, and client-focused service orientation.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide demand and acquisition management support in line with SCM policies.
- Assist with the compilation and maintenance of records in accordance with Supply Chain Management (SCM) prescripts, including procurement batches, bid documents, and related files.
- Receive requests for goods and services from end users and capture specifications on the electronic purchasing system.
- Request and evaluate quotations and place purchase orders as authorized.
- Issue and receive bid documents and provide logistical or secretariat support during bid specification and evaluation meetings.
- Compile and draft official documents, reports, and correspondence as required.
- Maintain accurate filing and record-keeping systems for all SCM activities.
- Perform any other administrative duties as may be assigned by the supervisor.

- Candidates will be required to complete a practical and theoretical test as part of the selection process.
