Channel Activation Specialist: Route to Market
KEY RESULT AREAS
- Support the delivery of Volume, Turnover, Gross Margin, Market Share targets and improved BTL ROI for the RTM channels
- Work closely with the Fragmented Channel team is ensuring that we support the channel through our RTM partners.
- Support the development of Channel plans for RTM across all brand categories, leveraging global programmes wherever possible.
- Work closely with Sales Teams, Brands, Channel service delivery teams and RTM partners to design the right mix of activation models.
- Valuable time spent in trade to understand channel dynamics, shopper behavior, activity execution barriers and opportunities
- Support the execution and deployment of agreed Channel programmes in the OpCo, leading projects, workstreams or initiatives as assigned.
- Ensure accurate and timely delivery of all projects and initiatives and closely monitors activation KPIs.
- Support tactical marketing interventions within the relevant Channel.
- Work with agencies and key partners to plan detailed activation modules.
- Ensure Safe & Compliant on the ground activations.
- Support the execution of promotional activities, such as product launches, promotion, and marketing campaigns, to drive product penetration and increase sales in line with channel guardrails and execution standards
- Coordination of 3rd party merchandise briefing and execution of in trade campaigns
- Assist the channel team with reporting and administration through SAP CRM, procurement, merchandising, travel, budgeting, scorecard tracking and campaign calendars.
- Follow Heineken Beverages policies and procedures and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
- A degree/diploma in Marketing, Economics, Business or equivalent.
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE AND PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES
- 3+ years of experience in Trade Marketing/Sales/ Brand Management/ Channel support.
- Experience of working with agencies and project management.
- Solid understanding of all channels, and HBSA’s RTM.
- Demonstrate good skills in applying Customer and Consumer Insights, Offer execution & growth, Market Understanding, Project & relationship management.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills used to build strong relationships inside and out of the organization.
- Strong project management skills: ability to juggle multiple projects, organize and prioritize, and respond quickly to changes.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage tasks.
