Job Summary:
- We are seeking a detail-oriented Booking Clerk to join our team. The Booking Clerk will be responsible for maintaining accurate records of bookings, assisting customers with inquiries and reservations, and ensuring a smooth check-in and check-out process for guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage booking and reservation systems to ensure accurate and up-to-date information.
- Answer phone calls, emails, and in-person inquiries from customers regarding bookings.
- Process bookings and reservations promptly and accurately.
- Communicate with guests to confirm details of their bookings and provide necessary information.
- Assist with check-in and check-out procedures, including collecting payments and issuing receipts.
- Maintain a neat and organized work area and assist with general administrative duties as needed.
- Collaborate with other staff members to provide excellent customer service and resolve any issues or complaints.
- Stay informed about current promotions, events, and special offers to effectively upsell and cross-sell to customers.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in a customer service role preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in computer systems and booking software.
- Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
